“Of course, nothing goes smoothly. Kingdom in which Cartman lived was quite a combative one, and the start of a war with South was unavoidable. As a result, war has brought a lot of problems as is, but the situation just got worse with time. Both king and queen weren’t able to fight on, and in the end they lost a lot of territory. There was only one more hope left – the transitional lands, choosing which was a hard choice for the royal family, making them almost ready to give up the fight. But they didn’t. They left their kingdom to their faithful mage, instructing him to watch over the country if they won’t come back, and to watch over their children, until the older son is aged up enough to be the next king. And so, little Kevin and just recently born Kenny were left in the mage’s hands, with the king and queen leaving their throne to the fight, that would lead them to their demise in the end. It was, after all, their mage that suggested the suicidal fight to the end, knowing that they would listen to him. They weren’t good rulers anyway, and Eric was sure he could be much better. If they won’t return, of course, Which they didn’t. They fell on the battlefield together, leaving their children behind and making Eric the temporary ruler. He could get anything he could ever imagine getting, with the power he has now. Just for him alone. And so, until Kevin will turn 20, Eric has his full authority to take the throne. Fixated on power, something flicked in him – after all his hard work, there was no way he’d let anyone take this throne besides him. There was no way some boy would take his throne. And so, an “accident” happened. The future king died – said to be a suicide, that was in fact, a cold murder. But now he could stay in his place of the ruler, deceiving the whole kingdom with an idea he had for some time – he could hid Kenny’s gender from everyone, presenting him as being in fact, not a prince, but a princess. And the 10 year old boy was ready to take the task. After all, the crown only follows the male family line – his authority was safely under his control. If needed, he could just present the princess for being anyone if needed. Thus, the powerful mage was a king to his small kingdom. The adoptive father of the prettiest princess of Zaron, and a respected ruler by his calm mannered paladin. In the end, Eric got to the title he climbed so hard for, saving the kingdom from a crisis, he became a ruler highly respected by all around him. From the lowest to the highest step, he made his way to the throne. No one should ever cross Eric Theodore Cartman’s path”.
