Easy drawing practice tip

So you guys have been asking for tips to get good at drawing and I don’t have to tell you practice makes perfect, but there’s a quick way to see progress that’s nice and rewarding.

I picked this up from the

Proko YouTube Channel

Which may seem overwhelming to some, but trust me it’s great. Here’s something from one of their videos.

Iterative Drawing.

Take a face of any character.

Any character.

Draw 8 heads next to each other.

Fill in those heads with the face of that character one after the other.

Each time you draw that character, keep the features you like and change the features you don’t.

Alter the proportions if they look weird.

You should get something like this…

It might look like I drew these on different days, but no. I drew them all in one day in the span of twenty minutes, just constantly altering the features. Look at the drastic difference between the first and last face.

This is also a great way to get used to drawing your favorite character in a way you really like.

It was really fun to do this, and exciting. I really recommend it to anyone who’s looking to improve.
