I think people are laughing at you because you’re a straight girl projecting onto 2 gay boys. It sort of shows in how unrealistic and ooc some of your depictions are. That is the difference between a fujoshi and someone who actually understands lgbt experiences outside of what you’ve learned on the internet.

Ohh, this is too good.

First of all the fact that you’re talking about LGBT people like I’ll never understand them as if they’re some alien race? Bet other LGBT people are just digging that.

Second of all, as a matter of fact, I met a bi guy recently who told me that the way I portrayed Kyle in Left Turns resonated with him so much that he projected onto him despite not even watching South Park.

That guy, by the way, has wide “child bearing hips” and is proud of them.

So if you want some advice, I think it’s you who needs to reconnect to the real world, sweetheart. Stay in school~😘

Wait I thought fujoshi ment a girl unhealthily OBSESSED with yaoi m/m pairings only because it’s “just like yaoi” to the point it turns into obvious fetishization. To be honest I don’t think you are a fujoshi. Because you ship kyman because you like the actual chemistry between Kyle and Cartman and I don’t think I’ve ever seen you portray Kyman in a stereotypical “Uke and Seme” setup you’d see a lot of fujoshis do. Also you see gay men as actual people and not just “kawaii sex objects”.

I certainly am not, I agree, but either way that’s not the definition, that’s just a stigma attached to the word. Fujoshis are literally just another word for shippers, just ones that specifically like M/M.

actually, here’s the definition: Fujoshi (腐女子, lit. “rotten girl”) is a self-mockingly pejorative Japanese term for female fans of manga and novels that feature romantic relationships between men. (so just admit it’s a kink for you and move along)

Yes, that’s the same definition I read. The one stating it’s a girl who basically calls herself trash and likes shipping gay men. If you’re in the fandom that’s you too. Don’t know what else you think is there.

i cant say i know the context of this stuff going on, but the anon harassing you is quite uneducated and playing themselves. fujoshi or fudanshi is just a term used for either female or male fans of m/m ships, mostly used in regards to fictional media. Regardless of whether you’re LGBT yourself, if you consume any media with m/m ships you’re technically a “filthy” fujoshi. so yes, enjoying kyman as well as any other sp m/m ship makes you a fujoshi.

Yup lol. Idk what their logic is. I guess they don’t think straights should be allowed to like gay romance? Doesn’t seem very progressive.
