Because I’m not the type to be up in arms as something as superficial as insults. People like asshole characters all the time and Cartman is no different. Cartman and Kyle have the famous hero x villain dynamic, combined with being frenemies. And they also have the best two-character banter in the show.
On top of that I love Cartman. and I love that Kyle sparks the passion in him and vice versa.
