It has come to my attention that many members of the South Park fandom have reblogged this āironicallyā, thinking that it mayhaps be a joke, a ha-ha, or a shitpost.
This is not true. I sincerely hate each and every one of you and wish you would be oppressed.

So I want to be a multishipper and I was thinking of Kyman for my next ship, the thing is, I never shipped it before and I thought of it as a dumb ship but now, I kinda wanna try it out. I really hope that you guys can suggest me some Fanfics or tell me something about the ship⦠Thank you for reading.
(they are⦠Kinda⦠Cute. Did I just wrote that?!)
I could recommend way more but I donāt want to overload you. I think these top-tier fics are a good starting point for now. Let me know if youād like more, though, and Iād be happy to oblige.
Also check out @yummykymanās analyses posts on Kyle, Cartman, and Kyman. Itāll give you the low-down on why this ship is The Fucking Shitā¢Ā šš„šš„šš„
Some time ago I read someone saying in S15e05 the one responsible for the Orphanage perhaps wasnāt the made up Slash but Cartman himself because of the wink at the end, at the time I thought that as nice as that would be I didnāt see anything that suggested or implied so, and that the wink could be no more than a gesture to make him look cute, now howeverā¦
This is the last scene
The only one who knew about it and had access to the orphanage design was Cartman.
Then we sees the things left behind by, supposedly, Slash, nothing but items.
Kyle is having trouble believing, Stan says that and right after we see this
Cartman looking directly at us, he affirms Slash is real but then
He winks at us, and the episode ends.
It was this other wink that got me thinking.
Why should I firmly think itās only a cute gesture when Cartman almost never does it and itās usual meaning in a suspicious situation when someone winks at someone it is to say play along with the lie? why canāt it have that same meaning here?Ā
@shortstackedkyman Theyāre talking about your headcanon, Friend, which I still adore, by the way. uwu
when you think about it besides everything else that makes south park having a genuine fandom awful itās really weird because most of the fandom is really into the characters and shipping things, like, really into this idealized, headcanon based alternate take on south park, and like. at this point you gotta wonder. why south park? why this? thereās tons of more respectable and āābetterāā, as such, kinds of media out there, so what about south park is there that attracts BOTH the edgy ‘cartman is the face of my political alignment get triggeredā kinds of cis guys (as expected), but also the stereotypical tumblry kinds of fans who get emotionally attached to the characters as people and love shipping them and are highly critical of the source but refuse to find something better. idk. just something interesting i guess
Well there’s actually very few cis men that I’ve seen participating in the fandom. Cartman fans are predominantly female on Tumblr.
But yeah, the Simpsons or Family Guy don’t get this kind of fandom, but I believe it’s because throughout all the years South Park has managed to maintain a genuine personality to it.
Where in Family Guy and the Simpsons the characters feel as if they’re just puppets used to play out the story in the script, South Park is generally a lot more character driven. Even though it falls under the same category as Family Guy and the Simpsons it’s incredibly clear that it functions nothing like them.
Sure those shows have some moments where you slow down from the laughs and have a sad moment, but it’s mostly about the jokes.
In South Park the main characters, even the assholes, are given moments, sometimes even entire episodes, where the creators make the audience feel for them.
And there’s something about the writing that, for avid fans, allows that to last throughout the seasons. We don’t need to be reminded that they’re the same characters that you shared those down to earth, deep feeling moments with. There’s just something about it.
