I think we should stop using the pine, mountain and tie badges. For what I recall they are representations of Kyman stereotypes, I don’t know about you but I don’t want to be a stereotype I don’t want people knocking on my door generalizing what I like, supposing what I headcanon, accusing me for things I didn’t do.

I see a ship fandom divided, I see gatekeeping and people trying to step over the others, that’s ridiculous! The fandom should be a place where we share the love we have for a pairing, regardless of how we represent it. Don’t like how someone portraits them? Well what about, idk B L O C K and move on you don’t need to ruin the fun of anyone to have fun yourself.

All of this beef over how someone draws a character is just ridiculous. It’s just sucking the fun of the fandom for everyone.

The community has been growing, and along with it came toxic people, people who thought they could compensate their insecurity about shipping kyman if they tried to control the way everyone portrays their dynamic (or how they think everyone portrays their dynamic), and this fandom policing is no better than the antis we all criticize, if anything, it’s even worse, because it’s separating the whole kyman community and turning it into a inner-fighting and toxic place.

It’s even distancing people from the kyman fandom. I have friends, pine, tie and mountain, that no longer feel connected, they still love the ship, but they just can’t take the toxicity anymore, and I understand them, because I don’t feel like the content makes up for all the drama anymore. It’s sad. Just let people draw what they want.
