What people sound like when half of their mouth is numb
He kind of talks from the back of his mouth. To exemplify this, say the word “you” andfocus on the articulation of the first sound. Now, say it again, but this time in a Scott Malkinson impression and focus once again on the articulation of the first sound. Notice how whereas the tongue stays in a medial position for your typical pronunciation of the first sound, the tongue spreads and goes further back when doing an impression of Malkinson. Also, the way air flows out of Scott’s mouth is unusual. For an example, listen to him pronouncing the sound “s” and then try to replicate it. For this you’ll notice that the air flows laterally out of his mouth (down the sides of the tongue) rather than centrally (down the middle of the tongue) as it’s supposed to in typical speech. So Scott’s tongue seems to be obstructing his articulation and impeding him from producing speech typically, which suggests a speech disorder like Dysarthria, where he can’t coordinate his tongue’s muscles. It’s almost as if Scott’s adapting his mouth movements in order to talk around his tongue rather than using his tongue to talk with. So…yeah. Saying that it sounds like a part of his mouth (aka, his tongue) is numb sounds about right.
Oh damn. Come to Parti Pooper for descriptions from now on please
The one thing that terrifies me about the Kyman shippers is that their eyes are so sharp when it comes to looking for proof for evidence of their otp being canon like
